The Organizers of Convergence 7 are proud to announce that Deep Red will be one of the distinguished bands performing for you this August.

Deep Red is a study in contrasts, just like their red and black logo, symbolizing darkness and passion. They are complicated and intense electronic goth that blends langorous melodies with addictive rhythms and liquid vocals.

Excuse me all the other people involved in electro music, but you can pack your things and go home... The band was formed in early 1996 in Miami, the brainchild of original members DC astro and Martha M. Arce. The following year, extra musicians were needed to recreate Deep Red's multilayered sound on stage, and Mario Soto became a permanent member of the band prior to the tour, due to his talents as drummer, vocalist and guitarist. Deep Red has just released their newest work, titled "Darkwaters", which showcases the results of over a year of labor, on their own label, Osiris Soundworks.
